First got interested in doing my own build when MR made the first Luke Saber and started collecting as they transitioned to the Force FX series. Always thought about building my own but never plucked up the courage. Things have changed a bit since I initially started looking and well, now...., all I can say is whoah things have moved on leaps and bounds since then.
Excited about building a neopixel blade and find myself viewing ProffieBoard smooth swing builds on YouTube way too much (pretty sure I would be classed as having a condition). I’m not the type of guy to frequent forums all too much so maybe after a year of trying to get my head around the install options (and plethora of accompanying threads) and which parts fit with what chassis’ etc I will get round to posting my own build.
Thanks in advance to the people who have shared their knowledge and experience on these forums.
Thanks everyone, Going to be a slow build for sure. I am expecting to get it done by Oct/Nov. I am currently sourcing parts, and I have been amazing at the communities overall move to providing modular systems. Subsequently I have ‘cheated’ a bit at the first hurdle and decided on a whim to buy a pre-fab hilt as it would be far better than anything I could muster and I am likewise simply blown away by the the 3D chassis prints from Goth so likely going to take the easy option there too.
ARKM: Damn skunk sprayed one of my cats in the face about 20 minutes ago or so. Had to flush my cat's eyes out with water and then bathe him. Stinks to high heaven in here now. Good times.

ARKM: YW and thanks. My cat was doing better immediately after washing him. I'm still dealing with odiferous emanations management though. I only got 4 hours of sleep as the smell was just too much. Fortunately Google is my friend in this regard.
