Although the 800 year old Jedi master doesn't carry a lightsaber in The Phantom Menace, one was specially created for him for the Star Wars Episode I: The Visual Dictionary. It was built by Ed Maggiani and Steve Dymszo.
It is 5 7/8" long and the aluminum tube has a diameter of 1 1/8". Following the tradition of the lightsaber props in the classic Star Wars films, this prop was also constructed from an antique camera flashgun, a modified Praco Flashmaker.
That Praco Flash in particular, like most famous original Star Wars props made from real world items, was the rarest of it’s respected variants - equipped with the same distinct knurled end cap and even rarer PEM brass nut that secures the shroud as the one pictured here for sale.
I have only seen two of these 100% accurate Praco flashes in my time in the hobby, with this being one of the two. If you’re a Yoda enthusiast, this may be the only chance at owning a truly accurate Visual Dictionary version of his lightsaber.

ARKM: I like Time Bandits and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen which are as close as I get to liking anything from members of Monty Python.

Rogue 5: Oh I could totally see the humor not working for a lot of people. Some of the jokes fall flat for me too. It's the semi serious lines like that rabbit one that are the funniest to me.

Rogue 5: "Now, eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs on your "dinosaur tour" right?"
Oct 14, 2019 12:05:45 GMT -5
ARKM: Being the lame nerd that I am, I actually coined a term for what happened to that dinosaur wrangler in Jurassic Park. That being distracted by one "enemy" while being killed by another enemy that you didn't see or didn't see until it was too late to react.

ARKM: Of course that scenario already has a term which is "blind-sided". However that term is broad and mine is more specific to the whole being killed by an enemy thing. I call it "velociraptored".
Oct 14, 2019 14:50:25 GMT -5
ARKM: I tend to use that term when playing online PVP first person shooters like the Battlefield games. When I get "velociraptored", again, in my lame and nerdy way, I will sometimes say aloud "clever girl".

Rogue 5: Does anybody ever get the reference?

ARKM: I don't activate the in-game voice chat when I say it. However I'm usually on Skype with a friend of mine, playing the same game and he gets it but only because I had to explain it to him back when I started using it, lol.

scarecrow: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Horrible movie but HBO ran it continuously for months when I was a kid so there was no missing it. You also hear it in Jerry Was a Racecar Driver by Primus.
