Here is one I designed a couple of years ago. Think I can finally get it put together soon.
Uses TCSS parts and sink tube: 1.25" and 1.5" sink tube, the 1.25" sink tube blade holder, 1.5" to MHS and pommel 4 and switch box 4... The grips are made up of anterior cervical plates used in spinal fusions. I'd use tailpiece washers to keep the 1.5" tube spaced out evenly from the 1.25" tube.

I honestly think it may just need a third color added into the mix. I'm a fan of copper and black if that's what you're going for. With proper "forced perspective" techniques and some good weathering, copper can be great. For example, you could have a green blade, and have the copper "patinated" with some of that cool patina paint, and yeah, it could be amazing. here's something for reference:
I love how aged and dirty most things look in Star Wars, and I think more copper added to the mix isn't bad at all
or, if you like it clean, here's a saber render I made via just the MHSBuilder at TCSS:
just adding a third color, like just plain aluminum, could help set it off nicely.
I like the copper you guys, I really do, you all know that you can have ALum copper plated as an alternative to paint, just google it.. I know a great plater.... it could age naturally or you can use patina..
