Last Spring we opened this project up to the forum, although we had been working on a revised edition for quite some time prior to that.
Scott from Crucible Custom Props/ Nerfworxlab was able to meet with the owner of the REAL SCREEN USED Version 2 lightsaber, able to study it in person, and get feedback over the course of the design phase.
We were able to validate as best as we could, the features of parts that were up until now "NOT" what we probably accept as "the best guess so far" information hobbywide on multiple occasions over the course of many months.
Discoveries were made by Scott about found part origins, and key features about the saber were researched to great length and compared to the Screen used saber data and feedback .
Many new aspects of the saber presented themselves over the course of the research. With the awesome tools/ software used by the TEAM , we really spent a lot of time on each part of the entire assembly through many revisions even until just more recently through proofing and rechecking.
We refined everything down to the .001" of every part of the saber against the research data.
The trickiness of making a saber that is for Both CROWDS in the Hobby is complicated because of the nature of its construction.
Our main focus was this:
1. Make it the most accurate of its kind in the entire world
2. Make it for both STATIC and FX Enthusiasts
3. Design a chassis that was able to capture everything we wanted into a newly more limited space then before due to the nature of #2

*** Please keep in mind we will be closing the pre orders, and only running the limited production- there are some spots remaining until that time. Any limited extras will be all there are/ or will be if any.
The ancillary parts mentioned above will be first come first serve basis upon completion, as we are working with a Chrome Plating company for the levers/ D-ring /etc finishing. Everything takes a lot of time, planning, and labor. This saber is much more complicated then our previous generation to manufacture. We decided to add the ancillary Vented Pommel after some chassis design changes, we will be talking more about it in the thread.

Due to the nature of the amount of time and research invested into the project, and unfortunately the amount of " IMITATION" that takes place in the hobby we have kept much of the work off the record.
The bulk of the responsibility rests on ( ME) Solo's Hold to follow through on projects like this, however there has been a lot of TEAM work / other outside considerations that have been crucial in the success of the project.
It has been challenging, and my apologies for time gone by without more updating. We have been working on several things at once, and we really never wanted to rush through this because it is such an important project.
