I do not want to beat a dead horse but I have heard positive rumors. I have heard rumors of people getting funds back from PayPal, even on transactions that were several years old and some that were even friends and family transactions. For the people experiencing these results, what did you do or who did you talk to.
PayPal has auto-denied my transaction disputes due to time frame. Can’t escalate to a claim. People I have talked to in the dispute department have not been helpful.
Please only respond if you have information pertaining to my question. Please no comments about Jordan and/or SoCal Saber Service. Feel free to PM if you feel more comfortable that way.
I saw on facebook that people were getting refunds through Paypal. Even if they paid friends and family or if it was beyond the normal 180 day refund period. I don't know how they went about it. They said Paypal was aware of the situation and issuing refunds. Apparently, Jordan's account has been locked so he can't do anything. If anyone knows how to do this, please let him know. He's out several hilts and a ton of money.
I was not getting a response from him until I threatened to file a police report with the Hemet Police Department where he lives. I also threatened to file a small claims lawsuit, which he knows I would followed through with because I live within 100 miles of him and I’m an attorney. Shortly thereafter I got a bunch of parts back and also a refund from a new PayPal account with the funds to replace my hilts, which I can see now that Jordan sold back in February on Facebook. Due to several factors I suspect he has moved funds from the Proffie run and from our commissions to a separate PayPal account where he believes the funds are protected.
He is responding to others sporadically and sending things back, but I suspect you may not get a refund or your items back unless you are assertive and involve law enforcement. If he hasn’t responded to you yet, he isn’t going to unless you take legal action.
