It was alright but I was not overly impressed. It will take some more episodes before I can decide whether or not I like it.

There is the possibility that this is going nowhere good? 😅😂🤣 But the production value was WOW Keep it coming

It was alright but I was not overly impressed. It will take some more episodes before I can decide whether or not I like it. if this was the beginning of a 2 hr movie i would feel the same. Being a 35 min pilot for a tv show i thought it was great. Great might be an overstatement as there were some things i didn't like. Dude playing a flute to call a taxi was a little odd. But the show did leave me wondering more about the mandelorians and the baby yoda thing definitely opened up some possibilities. I didn't care for the blacksmith's gear. Reminded me of dragon age or something. I can overlook all that if they don't drop the ball with the story. I have high hopes.

It left me wanting more. I wonder if we'll be seeing our new "little green friend" in some of the upcoming movies. Everybody loves a good tie-in.

We were a bit "meh" at the mounting scene, but I guess you need to be american to truly get it Nah seriously, that thing was really awesome. 2nd whatch planned next Friday just before the new chapter ^^ What i find "funny" is that you'd be supposed to wait for march to actually get Disney+ over here, while the internet is already filled with Baby Yoda spoiler today.... guess we'll go the Hondo Ohnaka way lol

Did they say why they were delaying the release in other parts of the world?

Ramp up deployments are pretty common, they are starting with The Netherlands in Europe as pilot and will release the rest next year. Probably a way to proof and scale the service.

Had to watch a 2nd time. That ending was a surprise. Samurai "Lone wolf and cub" come to mind. Love it. Hey, I love it that you saw the parallels between the two stories! (I loved the LWaC graphic novel series!) I'd be pretty stoked if they went that route.

I'm really hoping they go that route but you just never know.

The Mando's weapons locker is a dream come true for prop replicators. THAT should keep us busy for a while.

AND the fact that he isn't a lone survivor. THERE ARE HEAPS OF MANDOS?! THEY'RE STILL OUT AND ABOUT?! THAT is awesome.
After rewatching, also took particular notice of how weathered and rugged the stormtroopers looked. Really had the vibe of that of a remnant. No support, no supplies, and no new shinys. That's a cool point of view that I hope is further explored.

DUDE! I was JUST talking to some other donut about this?! He owes you a life debt now. So this would have had to occur around Ep1, or before then. If the theory is true. EDIT: They do have the whole aging thing accelerated aging going on. Also, makes sense they would keep his identity completely hidden and only offer up his age in his chain code.

According to my calculations (always wanted to say that in context), the baby yoda's birth is around 8-9 years before TPM. Which makes it around for everything on screen.

I mean, George Lucas always emphasized how rare the species is. And how little is known about them. The only things we know are that they're rare as heck, old as heck, AND force sensitive as heck. Those details alone make for an intriguing inclusion.

Just watched it and it's official, I want a fish lizard kangaroo thing 🤣
Filoni did a great job directing the first episode, lets see how the other writers and directors fare over the season. 😁
