So apparently the hype over The Mandalorian hasn't gone unnoticed by Lucasfilm... cause I would be SUPER excited to see Favreau get the 2022 film!
Certainly looking like he will! Funny thing is WE STILL HAVEN'T SEEN ONE OF HIS EPISODES YET😂 Who cares,,, he's a shoe in as far as I'm concerned. And begs another question... why weren't Dave and Jon in charge in the first place🤔 oh well. Let it ROCK!

Episode 3 was pretty good. It's picking up for me.
I bet the Mandalorian equivalent of the 501st and RL are getting a ton of new subs.

I really like that 3rd episode! The Mandalorian has "character". I like that he's gonna have to fight off Bounty Hunters all the time now! The hunter has become the hunted😉
I love that a Mando clan came to save him! I smell a Dark Saber Mandalorian unification coming.
This feels like Star Wars! Very happy with it so far!

I liked Ep3 (and 2). Lots of cool stuff happening. Is it just me or was some of the music reminiscent of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?

I think Disney finally re-captured the magic that there were hints of in Rogue One, and we haven't really seen since with The Mandalorian. I have watched Episode III about 5 times now, and I freaking love this show. The only thing I don't like about it, is that each episode is only 35 minutes long! The darkness, hopelessless, and despair in the Universe with a lone cold killer/Bounty Hunter trying to eek by is appealing, and how they brought in the "baby Yoda" and all that happened in III was really quite amusing. SOme cuteness for younger viewers, a lot of violence for us older folks. (Don't get me wrong here, I don't think The Mandalorian is appropriate for young kids). It was obvious that they have reached out to the fans, and given us some of what we have been yearning for. The movies lacked some uummph, and the political undertones were really OVERTONES. Even though KK still gets credits as Executive Producer, I think that she has been castrated behind the scenes. Favreau gets IT. Make him the CEO of Lucasfilm RFN.  That is my 2 cents so far, love this series. PS stop screwing with the OT Disney, put it back to its original state. That is all. TOm |

My wife and daughters didn't care for the ST and now because of that cute baby Yoda my girls are watching STAR WARS WITH ME! Who knew all they needed was that cute baby🤗 (who knew?) Jon freaking Favreau THAT'S WHO🤣😅😂 now Disney is getting flack for not marketing that cute baby? Well I say they deserve credit for showing restraint for the sake of the story! Jon and Dave literally asked then not too spoil the show for marketing and they backed off! On a side note: I'm also really interested to see what Kevin Feige brings to the table as well... If Ep9 is an apology for TLJ (which I think it will be) and this show along with Clone Wars keeps up greatness and Kevin Feige makes some great movies the future of Star Wars is bright! |

And possibly the Mandalorian, depending on how it finishes up (which is looking like a strong contender). |

Lol we'll see? I'm an optimist😁 LOTS of rumors and speculation and HATE for a movie that hasn't been released yet. I "HATE" TLJ as much or more than the best of em. But I at least wanna see this thing before I trash it. So I'm being good,,, for now😏 Based on the trailer (which shows NOTHING) it looks ACTION PACKED and the special effects look amazing! With Jon, Dave and Kevin at the helm and the future of Lucas Film (which is what looks like is what will happen?) I think they wanna go out with a bang on Ep9. Despite what controversy there has been I think they absolutely KNOW Ep8 was trash and wanna end it with a bang. Whether they pull it off or not is another story but This Mandalorian show so far has been superb! |

that's cool! I totally don't blame ya for being sceptical. They've given us NO REASON to trust them thus far with the ST or,,, more appropriate DT (Disney Trilogy) I however will accept an amalgamation fan service cluster of a movie in a desperate attempt to wrap up this series as a (WE'RE SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE US) and that will be cool with me |

Mandalorian and Fallen Order have been a good start. Mandalorian is creepin up better each episode.
I was actually kind of worried in the first episode with the blue guy, very Marvel movie like.
Much more a fan of humor like ep2 when he gets to the top of the Sand Crawler.

Absolutely loving this series so far- my girlfriend & I have watched each episode multiple times already,& tonight she actually started freeze-framing for costume analysis purposes (in between fits of squealing at Baby Yoda,quote, "It's so cute I'm gonna just DIE!" 😆 ).
Hitting all the right notes for me so far (who knew exploding Jawas would be so entertaining?!?😂 ...just about all of us,I'm guessing!).Seeing the Mando basically John Wicking stormtroopers at close quarters is right up there for best Star Wars action sequence in decades,in my opinion!Oh my gosh,we all have SO much new armour & weaponry to try & craft... Airborne Mando heavy weapons support,anyone?!? 😃 Hats off to Mr Favreau,a top job thus far.

And when I say that, I don't mean "oh the recent stuff has been crap". What I mean is that it's finally gotten back to it's roots, an adventure story. Star Wars back in 1977 is what made movies fun again, and now The Mandalorian is what is making Star Wars fun again. For me, at least.
