Episode 3 was pretty good. It's picking up for me. I bet the Mandalorian equivalent of the 501st and RL are getting a ton of new subs. What's up with the No taking off the helmet thing?? How do these people eat? Right? lol I got the impression that they mean they don't take their helmets off in public. I liked Ep3 (and 2). Lots of cool stuff happening. Is it just me or was some of the music reminiscent of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? Oh yeah. It reminded of Temple of Doom instantly. I really like the music so far. It's different from what we usually hear. It has a Morricone vibe to it. This last episode had some more atmospheric pieces which I liked.

Watched all 3 episodes again last night with a buddy who loves SW but, can't bring himself to even say the last Jedi in a sentence. He loved it and will be dropping by to watch the rest of them each week now. He echoed what many have said, this feels like SW again not the trash that's been given at the movies.

I've heard a lot of bad stuff from folks on YouTube that are bashing the whole cowboy thing, but I however love it! The Indiana Jones cowboy thing is excellent and TRUE to the character and vision that George had in mind when he modeled Boba Fett in the first place... my favorite game of all time was Star Wars Bounty Hunter and I also love the "game" feel that he's powering up as it goes!😅 next power up! JET PACK BABY I hope you're seeing now that getting your opinions from Youtube is the path to the darkside. I've never got "my" opinions from others... I just happened to agree with many of the channels I view on TLJ. When I saw the trailers for TROS and they posted their usual HATE for movie they haven't even seen it is "my opinion😉" that they've showed their true colors. I don't blame someone for being sceptical but trashing it before they've even seen it??? That's something totally different. Also hating the cowboy stuff seems to be picking something to attack "just because they're supposed too" that's junk too... Another thing was attacking Disney for NOT cashing in on baby Yoda... (like they're stupid or something???) So,,, my question is: which is it??? Are they money hungry and using nostalgia to tug at the heart strings of the older crowd while dishonoring George while at the same time (respecting the wishes of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau) and restraining themselves on merch for THE SAKE OF THE STORY??? ya can't have it both ways... I call em like I see em. Sometimes i post a vid for the sake of hopefully it will generate some discussion, sometimes because i agreed and couldn't say it better myself, sometimes because I "disagree" and didn't wanna take someone out of context and other times... because it's darn FUNNY!!! So yes,,, allowing YouTube videos or anyone else to "shape or form your opinion(s) no matter what the issue is a path to the darkside" totally agree... That's why formulate my own😉

YouTube in general is the dark side.
That is a problem these days. Became pretty profitable to bash on TLJ and people ate it up because Disney was just blowin it on the PR. Now that we are getting some good stuff, like Fallen order and Mandalorian though... Well, they make like one video praising them, hell not even praising, just acknowledging the existence of, and then go back to bashing on the sequels. The outrage sells i guess. At some point you just gotta move on to the "I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed" phase. Otherwise it will continue to sour everything going forward. I don't think most of these YouTube "fans" want Star Wars to be good, they're in it for the views.
It's unfortunate, because I think they might be doing just as much damage to the real fans as the people screaming racist, sexist, manbaby when people dare criticize Disney.
On the topic of The Mandalorian, they actually are cashing in on Baby Yoda, stuff is coming in for the Christmas season.
They prolly didn't want to have it leak by sending in the copyrights and patents, so they waited until after the show launched.
I'm eatin up the old western type moments.
Like I said earlier, I'm a big fan of Dry humor or situational humor as apposed to the "Hey look at me, aren't I funny" kind of humor.
Thing's like when he gets to the top of the Sandcrawler. That's funnier than anything in the sequels in my opinion.
I miss that kind of humor in movies these days.

My favorite moment was in 3 when he went ahead and unscrewed the hyperdrive lever ball, and handed it over to baby yoda, the yen/yang and the contrast between this homicidal mercenary and baby Yoda is entertaining. This crazed killer has a soft spot for babies. It makes for interesting themes, and "humanizes" the character behind the helmet....or is that mandalorianizes? I agree that there is a lot of vitriol on YouTube, it is garnered by paid videos, hits, and subscriber hunt. Some of these guys that are monetized with millions of subscribers, YouTube content creation IS THEIR FULL TIME JOB, and they make a lot of money doing it. Just like the news, if it bleeds, it leads....truth be darned. YouTube is no different. Sometimes I despise the pull of this instant information world we find ourselves in. This aspect of instant global communication has hurt Earth's collective culture. We were to immature of a civilization for that kind of power. It still hasn't normalized, because all of this is fairly new to human beings in the grand scheme of history. There was no internet per se when I was a young man, nor cable, nor cell phones. Now the power of all of the information in the world is in everyone's hands, and some people don't know what to do with it, and most others are just consumers of it. I reckon it'll take awhile to mature as a planet with our newfound technological terror we've constructed. Tom

well, it was always Jango was able to use a flamethrower because he reversed the flame from the jetpack. I mean I guess I'm sure this guy has some kind of internal fuel source? If I remember correctly I think towards the end of the battle he ran out?

There's no pipes or cylinders that I can see so who knows if they even thought of how it's fueled.
Actually, if I remember right, he fries the Trooper with his left arm and uses his right in the final fight. So... yeah.

We all loved E3 and can’t wait for the next episode. My sons have no desire to see Rise. Hopefully they keep the story and characters interesting and lovable in both the Mandalorian and Obi Wan.
Favreau, Filoni should be given the keys to the SW castle while Kennedy and Rian should be kicked to the curb.

Yaddle dies in 26 BBY TFA is 34 ABY
26+34 = 60
Mandalorian potential date range is ROTJ - TFA
Baby Yoda is 50, 10 years prior to TFA. Favreau has said it takes place 5 yrs after jedi. Could be misdirection like not allowing Disney to produce toys so as not to spoil the secret baby Yoda. No baby Yoda toys for Christmas. Disney lost millions keeping that secret. DF could easily misdirect to keep the origin of BY from us. Plus, there’s enough wiggle room left in the date ranges to make it possible. We can’t wait until tomorrow night. 😁
Chew on that with your turkey today.
Happy thanksgiving guys and Melissa. 😊

Nice Vid. I really hope he’s NOT a clone. However they play this I feel safe to say they will write it out in a way that fits the story. Writing and love of the characters is key.

IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.
The lore gets deeper, the content more expansive, and the BABY YODA GETS CUTER?!
Seriously, it blows my mind just how much I'm loving this series. Hitting every nail on the head.

Besides, if he is and is over 50 years old, that would mean that ol Palpy cloned him ages ago. Like 10+ years before episode 1.
And what would be the point? Yoda might be strong, but clearly Palpy was stronger. So if he wants a force sensitive army or a new body, there's no advantage to it aside from living longer, which is moot if you can just pop out into a new body.

Hitting every nail on the head. I actually think baby Yoda is getting a little worse the more they have it move around and interacted with.
They have to mesh the cg with physical and can't put as much time into each scene.
Episode was good, *spoiler* was a little too animated though. Acted like an animal.
What was with the lady though?
I just met you, I know nothing about you and you are standoffish and gruff. Abandon your entire life and be my baby daddy!

I thought it was very good! It reminded me of the episode of Clone Wars where Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi helped those Bounty Hunters train the villagers and fight off Hondo and his crew.
Also we got some more insight into the whole not taking off the Helmet thing. More to come of that I'm sure

Ep4 = McGiver meets the A team meets stargate 🤣😂
As for being a clone of Yoda, not necessarily. In the Clone Wars series Ahsoka and Anakin rescue baby's that have the force because Palpatine was planning on using them for something ( probably the inquisitors ) This could be one of those as it's 50 years old.

Which is sad. Finally get Mandalorian love and the main character is a reluctant Mando.
I really think it would have been more "realistic" if the helmet thing was just an enemy taking it.
Like if an enemy "unhelms" you, it's dishonorable and if they take it from you, you're not a Mandolorian anymore until you take it back.
Jango and the other prequel Mandos took off their helmets left and right.
I mean, not takin it off when you're out an about doin bounties makes sense.
No one knowing your face means when you go back to the rest of the Mandos, all you have to do is take off the armor and no one that you might have wronged knows who you are.
Makes sense for a group of people that are in hiding.
But I think they took it too far, saying that if anyone sees your face you're no longer Mandalorian.

It's just also very possible the doctor or scientist with the Kamino badge is hoping to "start" cloning tests on a force sensitive rather than examine a successful force sensitive clone? I could go either way on this

I'm wondering if the helmet thing is more of a clan thing rather than a Mandalorian thing? Otherwise I was thinking at first maybe it was a post Empire thing (for some reason?) But he said that he hasn't shown anyone his face since he was a little boy, apparently after the clone war? But Filoni who basically wrote the CW and Rebels where like you said Vizsla and all the rest took off their helmets often... so yeah it's not cool IMHO to "make up now" that Mandalorians can't take their helmets off in front of others? P.S. on a side note: Jango wasn't Mandalorian😉 However,,, like "this" Mando, Jango was taken in by the leader of the clan of the self proclaimed "True Mandalorians" led by Jaster Mareel. Who raised Jango like a son. (I don't care what Disney calls legends) THAT'S WHAT FAKE HAPPENED😂🤣😅

I don't think baby Yoda is a clone because if he was a clone then the cloners would already have his DNA blueprints from when they originally cloned him and wouldn't need to recapture him again for more cloning.
Makes sense?

The helmet thing is a clan specific thing for orphans as far as I can tell. Remember the donation to the foundlings when he gets new armour 😉
Mandalorians in the clone wars series have no problem taking off their bash hats in public.

Just a thought...
