That looks very cool...but I hope it is only a first pass or a placeholder. I do not think the dark blade effect is replicated well at all in those images. In The Clone Wars, Rebels, and in The Mandalorian, the blade is almost entirely black but has many small soft crackles of white near the front edge of the blade. Not a few large lightning bolts over the whole flat of the blade. Also the white glow should be visible around the entire edge for sure... Hoping for as accurate as possible please

Accurate is the mission, that is only mission. The blade is alive as it were, and the kit is customizable. You will see, everything you wrote is correct to the tangible blade, this is just a render like you said. thanks

I am weighing in on this aspect of the project with 20 years of graphic design and signmaking/digital print-production under my belt. No effort will be spared to see this launch as accurately as possible.

I fondly recall when lots of folks said that a darksaber was impossible. Lets do this! I'm excited to put my twist on the guts.

If you guys are able to manufacture something that actually looks like that...then wow. Consider me impressed. Although I will say that I've looked through every Darksaber scene I can think of and I have never seen the wisps / crackles appear from the back of the blade; only from the front. (Like in forcellama's photos.) I sometimes see it in promotional images but never in the actual shows. So in my opinion it should lean towards something like this:

(Like in forcellama's photos.) I sometimes see it in promotional images but never in the actual shows. So in my opinion it should lean towards something like this: Everyone will look for their personal favorite design cues. We're trying to strike a balance on the aesthetic with the blade. It does span two animated series followed by a live action series, promo photo's vs screen caps, etc. There are many variations of 'accuracy'. A couple of clicks and the layers are changed.

I believe you guys will do a great job Just want to give my own opinion as someone who has an eye for detail and is a big fan of screen-accuracy. I had some issues with the Ahsoka hilts so I just want to chip in and give my two cents.

I think we're getting a little confused and off base here a bit. Aaron and I will discuss things in detail this weekend and get back on track. We've all had our daily lives flipped upside down with the state of the pandemic right now.

I see on the main Solo's Hold site that the blade has been posted for sale. Can you elaborate what is included in the "Accurizing package"?
Does this price include the blade, connectors, and pixel strips? I am more interested in knowing about the connectors as you mention before they are different and proprietary.

I'm sorry, just a little clarification please. For us in on the run, do we purchase the blade on Solo's Hold, include a note with our TRA username and then.....that's where I'm foggy. The site says "you can check out on the site and your balance will be adjusted accordingly" I don't recall, so my stupid question...is the blade is included ? In the announcement / instructions in the first post it says "This run is for the Empty saber only" Thanks for any light you can shed on this. It's also still yesterday to me....zero sleep. Lastly, Solo's Hold I shot you a PM off topic. Thanks.

yea saw that already, guess I am looking for more specifics on it.
For run participants your blade can be added to your preorder manually, or you can check out on the site and your balance will be adjusted accordingly. Thank you for all your support, we are excited to share the most epic darksaber in the industry with you.
If I want to add a blade to my pre-order, how would I do that? Assumed there would be some specifics added to this thread, or a new thread would have been created for the blade.

<style></style> I have put the blades ordering on the website, If you like you can PM me or email [email protected] to add it In many cases shipping the blade in a seperate shipping tube will be most cost effective, I have already purchased the shipping supplies to do just that, but I will have to go through each order on a case by case basis and make sure shipping is correct +/- and make adjustsments with each recipient. You are welcome to check out on the website, and I will update you client files/ list.
