I am almost ready to delve into using Proffie, my first one is almost installed. I am so impressed and blown away by the time, love, and attention Proffezzorn/Fredrik and Fett263 continuously pour into this amazing work.
Forgive me if it's been addressed before, but I for one would be extremely happy to donate to Patreons for the two of you. It may not amount to much from just me, but I don't think I am alone. I have a strong suspicion that many of us out here sit in amazement at the constant stream of improvement, troubleshooting, teaching, and implementation of what is ProffieOS.
I realize there are many hands helping build and guide this ship, and I thank you all and mean no disrespect for not knowing who you are yet. So with that all being said, I would love the opportunity to show both of you how cherished and respected your efforts are to the saber community. I would love it if you each had a Patreon that I could subscribe to, so you can continue making the awesome things I am not able to! (Heck, even if you guys got enough to take your ladies out to dinner a couple extra times a month!)
Thanks again, from a newb about to dive into the ProffieOS world firsthand!

I appreciate the thought, but at least in my case, it's not necessary. In fact, I would prefer if pay it forward; write some documentation, make an open-source chassis or font, or just help people who are having problems. If you want to donate some money, find a cause that needs it and give them money, there are LOTS of those nowadays.
Thank you, I appreciate the thought but I wouldn't have anything to contribute to if it wasn't for profezzorn's work and creation. Everything would just be crazy ideas bouncing around my head if it wasn't for the platform and tools he provided. I consider my library and help "paying it forward" for the enjoyment he's given me in being able to just do amazing things with my sabers and replicate what I see on screen.
Now, seeing as YouTube seems to really want subscribers and likes on my channel (more and more based on their continuous streams of "suggestions" and "tips"); a Like and Subscribe on the channel is always welcome and appreciated, if you're so inclined.
Enjoy your sabers, help spread the fun and enjoyment to others (and if you're in a position to help someone else out or help good causes in or outside of the community) then paying it forward is the way to go.
OK< then I am powedercoating sabers for my contribution to the community, as well as share information whenever I can! I'll make some donations to charities the 501st are involved in. Keeping it in the family, as it were!
Yep, I'm ToddFox on YouTube and def subscribed to your channel.

Just stumbled on this thread and I agree with Radefox. Thank you both (and all the contributors to this community) for the amazing work and efforts put into this board and community, this will continue to be a great platform not just because of the features and flexibility but also because of this community, it has made saber builds that much more exciting. Customizing it to the full potential of what we all have come to admire over the past 43 years.
Maybe we can turn this thread into a "thank you for the efforts" - for those still learning Proffie and unable to contribute to answer questions or with documents but really want to show gratitude.
Needless to say, I have only started diving deep into saber smithing and this forum along with the Proffieboard have made it a real joy to build sabers.
