I received my 89 Sabers Fallen V2 so it's time to install (unlike some other saber that's been sitting in a box collecting dust due to a design flaw and lack of support from the vendor for close to two months, cough, cough, DARKSTAR, cough, cough). I picked up Goth's chassis with removable battery and a Smuggler's Outpost 28mm speaker. To begin I positioned the lower portion and tapped a through hole to lock the threaded holder and chassis in place. I only need one through screw the others will just be the set screws for added support. I'm planning to include some neopixels in the exposed section so I'm testing diffusion ideas, the foam for a 7/8 blade fits nicely and I'll probably wrap it in blade film. The idea will be to create a small channel along the side of the speaker and have two short strips to light up the base. Just have to get the rest wired up and plan it out. More to come...

Wired up the kill switch, battery contacts and main button and mounted in chassis. Did a few test fittings to determine best buttons for the switches, ended up needing one micro switch for the aux, the original switch was too tall. Mounted the neopixel connector and set with a set screw by removing the shroud covers. Routed the wires through the upper portion and mounted the chassis. I assembled the neopixels for the lower engine, (the pic is of 8 I ended up trimming to 6 for easier fit). I have the 7/8 inch diffuser tube and foam in the lower engine and the strips will slide in and out when the lower portion is slid on and off. continued...

I notched the speaker case and chassis to let the wires for the lower neopixels to fit flush, I used a thin gauge as there are only a few pixels. I wrapped some blade film around lower portion as well to help diffuse the light in the very bottom of the engine. Got the board wired up and seated Next I glued in the decorative greebles Finally glued the middle greebles to cover the set screws (after testing of course). For now I am leaving it with the gunmetal finish, not sure on weathering, I kinda like this look, but maybe I'll add some additional weathering down the line. For this hilt I wanted to mimic the experience of the game as closely as possible so I designed new styles to match the game so I am using new features from OS5 including Multi-Phase, Multi-Blast and Battle Mode with Smart Lockup/Melt/Drag. Multi-Phase enables live preset change, by setting up your presets in order with separate fonts for each color you can mimic the workbench in the game and have your blade color/style and sound all change automatically without having to retract the blade. On my prop file you will hold Aux and twist to advance presets (or Pwr and twist to go back a preset). Rather than ColorChange which only changes the Color of the blade, Multi-Phase enables a full change of color, style and font with one control. While changing the font.wav sound will play as it is the same as changing presets it just occurs while the blade is on. Depending on your font you may want to update this sound to use the menu sounds from the game to really complete the experience. And of course, I've designed a new style to match the game: fett263.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/proffieboard-responsive-style-library-os4.html#fallenorderContinued...

Great idea regarding those pommel pixels! Represents the blown off second emitter very well! Keen to see if you weather it and how (I used paint, was a really fun build, first saber I did paint weathering on).

Hi,
Do you have a wiring Diagram for this Setup? Also, a possible Parts list? I find this Project absolutely stunning and would love to build one as well.
I also follow your channel.
This Hilt would complete my current collection.
Thanks in advance.
PS: When and where can I get the new "Edit Mode" Config?

Thanks, I just used the wiring diagram in the manual for neopixel Crystal/Accent. No special parts; Proffieboard, hilt from 89Sabers, Goth's chassis, SO 28mm speaker and standard neopixel build for everything else. "Edit Mode" has no ETA, still a lot of work, testing, etc. It'll be a future update when it's ready but no idea when that'll be yet.
