I thought it was time to post this since filming just wrapped a few days back now. Difficult to put into words to say how much I've been looking forward to this one....

Agreed- I am absolutely over the moon about this. It was great reading about how excited Ewan McGregor is about shooting scenes in the immersive βVolumeβ stage versus the green screen from the movies.

So apparently obi wan kenobi could release after soon after book of boba fett ends, if you check the upcoming releaseβs on Disney plus it shows the title and page for it among other fall tv shows. There isnβt anything for upcoming marvel stuff other than eternals and nothing for bad batch s2 or the andor show which could mean we could get a trailer dropping at the finale of book of boba fett. And also may the 4th is a Wednesday this year and on Wednesdays is when they drop new shows so we could see the finale coming out then or the first episode of course this is just speculation so as always take it with a grain of salt

π I'm glad you mentioned the Obi saber. That's my favorite Jedi saber I actually finally got my OM GK3 not too long ago I just love that thing. I have high hopes for this show! There's been a lot of talk about whether or not it would violate canon if Obi and Vader fight again. I "personally" am ok with Vader's statement(s) "it's not a presence I've felt since..." or "when I left you I was but the learner now I am the master" I'm totally ok with taking that as a bit ambiguous and GIVE US A GREAT FIGHT!!!π I don't want flash at the expense of the story but MAN,,, I WANT to see an EPIC 21st century costume Vader lightsaber battle! What you think? |

First of all,  That's the OT "Old Ben" hilt for sure. As for how it begins, I have no expectations. It would be cool if they kicked it off with a full-on Boss battle right off the bat, and then followed it up with some backstory on Obi arriving and setting up on Tatooine, to watch over Luke. Having said that, I just realized I totally made a huge assumption on the focal point of the series. I just hope they do the character justice. And as much as I love Ewan, I actually love James Arnold Taylor's contribution to the character in TCW more I think. |

My biggest plus about this show's tone going into it is that Deborah Chow is directing- she's awesome,did the jailbreak/heist episode in Mando season 1 remember,so if we want action?I reckon she'll deliver in spades!
