Hi all,
I have recently purchased an 89Sabers Obi-Wan Proffieboard V2.2 saber as a 2 button setup.
Just wondering if anyone has come across any of these issues;
1. The blade will ignite instantly when cycled to a particular sound font
2. The blade will reignite just after the power button is pressed retract the blade causing reactivation of the blade over and over until it eventually retracts.
I should mention that it only occurs with the stock fonts that have come with the blade.
I have placed some other fonts I had on the Saber and these above issues do not seem to happen, so I am wondering if there is a rogue sound file causing a loop (unsure if this is possible?).
In regards to point 1.
- I have tried changing the config file to a different style which has not made a difference.
- This usually occurs and I get issues as described in point 2 also.
In regards to point 2.
- I have tried completely removing some configs, uploading to the board, then adding it back into the config and reuploading - same issue occurs.
- Happens with fonts that do and do not have a preon effect.
- As mentioned above, I do not have this issue with sound fonts placed onto the saber from other boards.
- I have noticed when I ignite the blade so it extends in "mute mode" - I have no issues in retracting the blade and I do not get the constant retraction over and over.
In regards to both.
- I have changed the clash threshold to 4G to see if this was the issue - it did not help.
- I have had a look at the activation switch and auxiliary switch wires and they both seem to be working fine - and as mentioned, it does not do this for stock fonts I have added.
Unsure if anyone has experienced this, but any help would be appreciated
