How many LE slots are remaining? These are by far my favorite plugs. I also need to phone about a custom plug for Bloodshine.

HI.
I have a need for a blade plug that will house a stunt carbon blade ( the ones from Ryan's wed site). It need to fit snugly and have some sort of shock/vibration absorber material wrapping it ( ducktape, silicone paste work very well indeed, the one used to seal around bath tub and sink) I still need to get the measurements but I d like to discuss the design and if /how it can be done. I 'd like maybe to be able to screw the blade IN the plug and find a way to lock firmly the plug in the saber ( any saber, not only empty stunts maybe?)
It will be for choregraphed fights so full speed but controled ( i'm trying my hands on the rotoscoping system and such for fan movie
And I will get I think 2 R2TD plugs but I still need to measure diam and lengh. I ll let you know.
Question, where are the designs of the special version you re mentioning?
Pm me your ideas since well, you re the craftsman and I know nothing ^^
Thanks!
Y

"These are not the plugs you are looking for."
These plugs are aesthetic and also protect the user from eye burnout with the blade off. These blade plugs aren't made to stay in with the blade attached.

well I knew ^^ but I need something the shape of a plug, machined in aluminum or Polycarb to slide the smaller carbon rod.
I have the concept , the ideas but no one to machine the parts, thus my post here to try to work up something with DE
I will BUY BLADE PUGS FOR SURE , THEY ARE AMAZING, THIS LOOK ALIKE A TURBINE IS RAD!
but for now i need to see with DE if he can help me make it happen, then everybody wanting to do some rotoscoping for a fanfilm will have the perfect plug to insert their carbon rod ( sounds kinky, sorry), it's like bringing to the hobby a new tool to go even further in the dream of acting on a jedi film XD.
no?

Could one of these plugs be used as a pommel plug? Can sound travel through it?

Could one of these plugs be used as a pommel plug? Can sound travel through it? Yep. You just have to drill the appropriate sized hole through the white plastic piece that the shaver head rests on. However at that point, it will no longer work well as a blade plug as it will not block/diffuse enough light to be safe to look at when the saber is turned on so no dual-purposing the same plug for both uses, lol.

I did not want to dual purpose I wanted to use it for the pommel only. This would be perfect. Do they all look like the one in the picture you showed ARKM?

No sir. That's just one I made for a customer way back when. It was for a Saber Forge Gladius. I'm sure Darkside Engineering can make one to suit your tastes... if he feels so inclined to and has the time that is.

Quick update the Titanium blade plugs will be coming along soon, I just ordered some better tooling to cut the Titanium more efficiently so as soon as I have the tooling the Ti plugs will be made. All other plugs are good to go though

As much as I'd love to get a titanium one, I can't swing that. However, I will order a different one.
Style: R2D2T Quantity: 1 Blade Plug O.D.: 1" Sanding Option: Sanded Overall Length: 1.5"
Quick question, do I need to wait for confirmation, or send the money right away?
