WoodChuck here. Surprise! The blaster only weighs 4 lbs, and 4.6 lbs when you replace the blaster attachment with the sniper attachment. It is completely hollow inside for electronics installation.

"WoodChuck here. Yeah I have been doing A LOT of prop building and not much forum visiting. I do not build the DL-17. It is one of those items that became too labor intensive to do by hand, which raised the selling price out of sight. Now that 3D printers are getting cheaper and more reliable, I am sure there will be vendors offering them a lot cheaper then I could build one. Thanks for checking in with me. Chuck"
