UPDATE Oct. 6th 2017:
Two new Razor blade plugs added. The GS and GSB. The GS stands for "Graflex Style". The B stands for "Brass" These 7/8" diameter Razor blade plugs are a hybrid between the Graflex Razor blade plugs from my limited runs and my standard Turbine Razor blade plug. The GS comes with a polished fake aluminum bulb contact pin and the GSB comes with a polished fake brass bulb contact pin. The metal ring that sits around the shaver head is a little bit shorter than the ones on my Turbine blade plugs, in order to look more Graflex-like. Unlike the cones in my Turbine Razor blade plugs (which are glued on), the fake bulb contact pins are held on with a 6-32 screw that goes through the diffuser and shaver head and into the bottom of the fake bulb contact pin (just like how I did it for my previous Graflex Razor blade plug runs). Pics of the new blade plugs are below, including a pic that shows what the new blade plug looks like in a Solo's Hold Graflex blade holder. Prices for these new blade plugs have been added in the price list in this post. Thanks go to my customers Songwut L. and skywalkerknight85 for coming up with this idea.
I hope you like it. Thanks for reading.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is an unlimited run, meaning these are always available until I croak or retire... or am on vacation, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: The "R2" part of the "model number" in all the blade plug versions listed below, no longer stands for what type of shaver head is being used (like it used to way back in the day). Now it's just a part of a model number for my blade plugs that pretty much means nothing at all. If you like, you can associate it with the lovable droid, R2D2.
NOTE: If the blade plug is specifically for a Parks Sabers/Korbanth Graflex 2.0 and you are using Darth Ryo's "Knight" or "Guardian" 3D printed chassis, I recommend that the length of the blade plug be 1.125" (1-1/8") long. Please let me know if you want me to make the blade plug 1.125" long. Thank you.

Hi all.
This is the thread for ordering 7/8" diameter Razor blade plugs. For the 1" diameter versions, please order them from Darkside Engineering here...
www.therebelarmory.com/thread/1456/arkm-dse-razor-blade-plugs
This type of blade plug uses a round "head" off of an electric rotary shaver. Hence the name "Razor blade plug".
It's comprised of a rotary shaver head, a custom lathed piece of white plastic, a small piece of polycarbonate tubing, a machined metal ring that borders the shaver head and either a small flat disc or a convex cone in the center of the shaver head. The overall length of the blade plugs can be anywhere between 1" to 2", depending on your needs (custom sizes that do not fit in that criteria are available upon request).
My line-up is considerably less than Darkside Engineering's. I only make four versions of this blade plug. The names for each type of blade plug are as follows... R2, R2B (NEW!), R2T and R2TB. (Note: NeoPixel versions are now available) The T stands for "Turbine". You may have noticed that some of the Razor blade plugs models have the letter "B" at the end of the normal letter designation. The B means that it has a polished brass disc or cone instead of an unpolished aluminum one. For example, an R2T with a brass cone would be an R2TB. I offer the discs/cones only in aluminum and brass and the metal rings only in aluminum. I do not offer weathered versions.
The regular versions offer a metal ring and a flat disc that are both flush (or close to it) with the top of shaver head. That flat disc comes in both aluminum and polished brass. NOTE: The polished brass disc is $1 extra.
The Turbine versions offer a taller metal ring than the standard versions and an inner cone that makes it resemble a jet turbine engine. That cone comes in both aluminum and polished brass. NOTE: The polished brass cone is $2 extra.
The shaver heads are over 3/4" in diameter. As such, these blade plugs will not work in blade holders that are designed for 3/4" O.D. blades. They are meant for blade holders that use 7/8" O.D. blades (and 1" O.D. blades if made by Darkside Engineering).
Alright, here are the pics...

Note: The blade socket depth may be different on NeoPixel installed sabers as opposed to Tri-Cree installed sabers. As such, ALL NeoPixel blade plug orders will require that you specify the overall length of the blade plugs.
Shipping for entire U.S. and it's territories = $4
Shipping to Canada = $11
Shipping to Australia = $18
Shipping to all other countries $15
You can pay me via PayPal. My PayPal username is [email protected] PayPal fees are already included in all of the prices so please pay using the "Paying for an item or service" option.
These blade plugs will only work on blade holders designed for 7/8" O.D. blades (and 1" O.D. blades if made by Darkside Engineering) as the shaver heads are over 3/4" in diameter.
Please specify if you want the polycarbonate part of the blade plug to be sanded (like the R2T shown above) so that it slides into your blade holder via gravity or if you want if left unsanded for a tighter fit. Please note that if I do not sand the polycarbonate, it may be difficult to remove the blade plug without damaging it and it may have to be pushed out from the bottom of the blade holder. Sanded is the default option so if you don't specify this option, I will assume that you want it sanded. NOTE: My use of the word "sand" and "sanded" in the above context actually means "turned down (reduced in diameter) via a lathe".
Please specify overall length. Minimum overall length is 1" and the maximum overall length is 2". 1.5 inches is the default option so if you don't specify this option (for non-NeoPxel blade plugs), I will assume that you want it to be 1.5 inches long (custom sizes that do not fit in that criteria are available upon request).
IMPORTANT NOTE: NeoPixel sabers require an exact measurement of the overall length of the NeoPixel blade plug (NOT counting the center attachment that sits on top of the shaver head such as a brass cone). This is because, like the PCB at the bottom of your NeoPixel blade, the PCB at the bottom of one of my NeoPixel Razor blade plugs must sit firmly against the contact pins inside the blade holder. It is also because the exact position of those pins when the blade plug is fully inserted, may be at a different depth/height than say the top of an LED module designed to hold a tri-Cree LED with lens or may be closer to the top of a blade holder than the machined lip inside of a blade holder (if said lip exists in your particular saber). If those NeoPixel contact pins inside the blade holder are spring loaded, there is a little bit of room for a safe margin of error. As such, for all NeoPixel blade plugs ordered from me, you must specify the overall length, EVEN if they're for a saber that I already know the perfect length to use for a NON-NeoPixel blade plug (like the Solo's Hold Ahsoka sabers for example). If you have any trouble figuring out how long your NeoPixel blade plug should be, I will be posting a video soon that shows what is probably the easiest method to figure out blade plug length. However it will require that you have both your NeoPixel saber and NeoPixel blade, some tape (masking tape for use in painting is what I used), as well as a tape measure or ruler, on hand.
If your blade plug is specifically for a Parks Sabers/Korbanth Graflex 2.0, and you are using Darth Ryo's "Knight" or "Guardian" 3D printed chassis, I recommend that the length of the blade plug be 1.125" (1-1/8") long. Please let me know if you want me to make the blade plug 1.125" long. Thank you.
To place an order, please contact me at [email protected] or send me a PM. I prefer email. If that email address does not work for you for any reason, please let me know in this thread and I will provide you with an alternate email address/host.
Again, you can pay me via PayPal. My PayPal username is [email protected] PayPal fees are already included in all of the prices so please pay using the "Paying for an item or service" option.
