Hi, any plans to do a second font for the shoto? The shoto came later in the series, so maybe something with influence from the end of the Clone Wars, like when she was on the run during the trial, etc?
Or perhaps an intro from the episode when she first obtained the shoto? Just throwing some ideas out there.
Good question. This font will have Two Aux folders. Main & Shoto.
How this works is, you buy the font, and upon installing it on the main saber & the shoto, The base font is exactly the same, but the aux folders have interchangeable sounds for the two hilts that differ from one another.
AUX MAIN folder has replacements for poweron poweroff and a couple others and AUX SHOTO has blaster & clash replacements
These replacement sounds have Ahsoka quotes mixed in. You (the user) will have to swap them in and out as you will as the base font has no quotes attached to the sounds. This is for folks that like a clean font with no voice over. But the AUX folders, even when all aux sounds are equipped, are designed to no be duplicates.
ie.... All aux sounds from both folders can be equipped and you will not see/hear the same thing on both hilts. Example: Clash1 AUX is only in the AUX SHOTO folder. Poweron AUX is only in the AUX MAIN folder.
I hope that makes sense to everyone!!! If there are any other questions, please let me know!! Thanks again!
This one font has been designed to work on both hilts.
As far as a Plecter version VS a NEC version... The NEC version is not set up the same way. It works differently as a soundboard HOWEVER, Anyone can take the NEC version and arrange the sounds as they see fit because the board does the mixing. Just rename the files appropriately.
The plecter version has the folders mentioned above to use both Main and Shoto hilts with distinction but also because the sounds have to be mixed with the hum.
There will be no discount other than the current offer. $6.00 USD is already 50 cents cheaper than Saberfont, And if both of your soundboards end up being plecter or NEC then this font is a one stop shop.
