Here's my completed app pics and info.
Anovos armor Built using UKSwrath's build tutorial Kittles belt Mrnostripes bracket system Trooperbay silicone glove armor plates Trooperbay accurate rivets TK boots Black nomex gloves Garter system from whitearmor member Romfx -Wireless mic system Ukswrath's cooling bracket system New elastic straps Popper snaps I ditched most of the Anovos strapping system. No Velcro but for the shins. I did the bra hook enclosure method and didn't like it so I switched back to Velcro for a nice tight seam. Wrist return edges have been removed.
I've met most of the centurien level requirements but there's a few items I don't like about that level so I'll be staying with the basic level. Just personal preference.
Deactivated British sterling parts welded to a lightweight 80% aluminum dummy receiver from Phoenix props. Vintage M38 WWII tank scope Vintage Hengstler eagle counter Wannawanga T track One piece scope rail from a whitearmor member. Blaster core to be installed.
That's seriously neat. Gained a new appreciation for the trooper armor builds after drawing up plans for some of those Task Force 99 designs. Also nice seeing your submission photos, since I'm thinking of applying as Kylo once I get these boots detailed.
Anovos strapping system is pretty much just Velcro. Which most troopers will tell you, stinks for trooping. I went with the mrnostripes brackets which is screen accurate. I don't care for the visible screws though. Plus you need to paint the screws which was a major pain.
At some point I think I might sell this armor and go with AP authenticprops armor. If I do, I will switch over to straps and snaps. It's not screen accurate but it will be a cleaner more idealized set of armor. I estimate the entire job took me around 100 hours to build. The E-11 was another 20.
