Woodchuck here. I just finished making this hilt for a lady who is working on a Ventress costume. It is solid wood, no access for any electronics, as she requested. Seems she needs two of them to complete her costume.

WoodChuck here. This AT-PT found a new home yesterday. It will be living at Davie, FL storing DVD's and video games. I heard a rumor it may be used to hide beer and ice for pool parties too.

Nice work Chuck.
I'd love to have one of those as storage space in my living room.
Perhaps for my DVD/Game collection I'd need an AT-AT though.

Woodchuck here. Thanks for the compliments. I am still getting lost in all of the sawdust in the workshop, but just wanted to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone.

Do you have Plans for sale? I'd really like to make a rocking Tauntaun or an AT-AT. Something like that. Let me know. Thank You! [email protected]

Anyone know if woodchuck is still in business? Had something I wanted to see about having him make, but his original weblink is shuttered and he hasn't been on here 'per his profile' in over a year. He was really good at what he did too.

He was last on therpf.com, 2 days ago with his latest post being 4 weeks ago. His username there is "The WoodChuck". You could try there. Other than that, you might be able to convince a mod to give out his email. Like bribe them or something. Seriously though, IMHO, all Consortium members and Imperial Armory members should be required to provide a current email address for customer's to use to contact them, in order to be allowed to do business here.

You can also find him on the clonetroopers.net forum I believe..
I did an electronics kit for his DC-17 blaster:
(I think it turned out great!)
needed only slight mods to the base wood gun.

Thanks. The blaster isnt mine. haha.. someone sent it to me to make some electronics for it. If anyone is interested, its a custom Arduino based solution. However this thing has so much room, you could do the same with all off-the shelf components more or less Arduino of choice Adafruit Waveshield MAX72xx chips whatever you want to use for an led bargraph (I had some custom pcb's made for it) $10.00 for 10 pcbs from China (good deal if you can wait the shipping time) 3 digit, 7-segment led display (both of the above use the MAX72xx chips to drive them, more or less) all sounds and colors (RGB only) are editable from a microSD card as well.. not as cool/robust as a BlasterCore....but the current BC doesnt work with the extra parts. My direction given was to make it look, work and feel/play like the Republic Commando video game (I have never played it though.. only watched a few vids to get the game play down)
