Hey guys, not on the forums often, but who has a solution for the side tab on the graflex 2.0 when using a 1” blade holder from TCSS. Hit me up please, I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with ideas for days now.
From the TCSS website regarding the Graflex 2.0 1" blade holder...
"This is for the DIY'er wanting to replace their 7/8" standard core with a 1" core. It has a solution for a secondary/aux switch (switch22) and holds a 1" optic/heatsink module. If you do not require an aux switch for your build, you will have to find a solution to retain the original tab plug."
That said, if you are not going to setup the side tab as a functional switch, with the blade holder installed, you may be able to put a nut on the end of your finger and then place it inside so that you can get the side tab screw to go through the side tab and into the nut. Hopefully, that will work.
EDIT" I like how TCSS mentions parts for switch 22 and switch 17 yet there are no switches with those descriptions anywhere on the site *ARKM stated sarcastically*. They most likely mean two of the three tactile switches already on the site... but which ones are which?

Thanks for the reply ARKM. Unfortunately with just a nut on the back it will not work. The tab will just fall through because the hole is too wide. 7g_sabers is working on a solution for me by making a piece that fills the hole and grove. Then we can just tap it for the screw.
I'll admit though, if you don't already know the info is there, it's not really in an intuitive place. =/
As for the OP, the 1" faux-slide is meant to be held in place by Switch22.
If you're not going to use the switch, you can probably get away with using the original cover along with the original screw, a 4-40 nut, and a washer (either #4, 1/8" ID, or 3mm ID - whichever has an OD large enough to hold the part in place from the inside).
